Scott Young General Manager wtgn@wcoil.comScott was born in Pennsylvania and raised in northeastern Ohio (Windham). He was saved while visiting Fort Wayne Bible College during his sophomore year of high school. He is a graduate of Brown Institute of Broadcasting and has a B.A. in Christian Education from John Brown University (Siloam Springs, Arkansas). He and his wife Linda, have two daughters, Sarah and Emily and one grandson, Brendan Scott Young (great name!). Scott came on staff as the evening announcer in 1978, served as the morning man/program director from 1980-1988 and became general manager in November, 1988. Although he admits he sometimes falls short of the mark, his heart's desire is to be driven by Mathew 6:33. | |
Bob Horstman Rise N' Shine/Christian Home bhorstman@wtgn.org Bob grew up in Glandorf, Ohio and graduated from Ottawa-Glandorf High School in 1965. He served in the U.S. Army and is a Viet Nam Veteran. Bob married his lovely wife Vicky in 1971, and they have five children Jennifer, Jeffrey, David, Emily, and Lucas. They are also rearing their niece Kiley. They are the proud grandparents of one grandchild, Tyler. Bob and his wife came to know Christ later in life in 1983. Bob started in radio as a volunteer in 1990 thanks to Charlie Wisener. He has been the long time host of Sunday Call To Worship. He is honored to be part of this ministry and prays that he will be a blessing. He was saved as a teenager at a church youth camp. He graduated from Pilgrim Christian School in 1999, attended Hobe Sound Bible College in South Florida for two years, then graduated in 2005 from God’s Bible College in Cincinnati, Ohio earning a B.A. with a major in Ministerial Education. Eric’s four favorite people in the whole world are his wife Megan, his daughters, Olivia and Suzanna and his son, Will. Eric and his family have served in ministry in Tennessee and Illinois. Eric joined the staff at WTGN in May 2009. He considers it an honor and privilege to work in the ministry of WTGN.
